This is a gorgeous old circa 1923 French majolica oyster serving platter in a color scheme and style that would suit even the most modern of tables! And if you want the individual plates, I currently have them offered for sale as well. (See Item # RL030820) This platter measure 13” in diameter and contains twelve scallop-shaped wells for the oysters and two central condiment wells. They are glazed in a muted dove gray that gentle fades into white. This was made by the renowned French majolica pottery, Orchies, near Lille, France. It is clearly marked on the back with the Orchies Moulin des Loupes mark which was in use during the 1920’s & 30's. It is in superb condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs.
