Gorgeous Antique French Majolica Garnissage Applied Flower Reticulated Corset Vase

I am very pleased to offer this lovely antique French majolica corset style vase. The body of the vase is glazed in cream accented with faience-type décor at the base and around the reticulated rim. The front is accented with applied flowers, known as garnissage, in shades of deep rose, cobalt blue, and green. The central flower appears to be a rose and the blue one…perhaps forget-me-nots? The interior is glazed in deep pink. I find no maker’s mark on it, only the impressed number 1025. There are the remains of a very old price sticker on the base, but I do not feel any impressed marks beneath it, or see any indication there might be a mark beneath it, so I have not removed the sticker. It stands 7 ½” tall, 7” from side to side, and 6” from front to back. As for condition, the only issues I note are 2 chips on the rim and several petal tips of the blue flowers are chipped. There is gentle crazing appropriate to its age, but it is not at all disfiguring. Shipping weight: 3 lb. 3 oz. (Location: C3)
