Superb Old French Majolica St. Clement Figural Duck Absinthe Pitcher

This is a superb example of this very sought after pitcher by the renowned St. Clement faiencerie of France. This is an older example not one of the new pieces they are producing from the old molds. His coloration is far more subtle than the current products. This likely dates to between 1890 and 1910. He measures 13” tall, but given his shape it’s hard to give you a diameter. It bears St. Clement’s early raised intertwined SC France mark. (This mark pre-dates the impressed and the printed script mark.) This is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, flakes, repairs, etc. There is gentle crazing appropriate to his age, but it is not disfiguring. See the photos below for details.
