I love these antique Chinese Export porcelain bird figures with majolica-like glaze that were so popular around the turn-of-the-century. I’ve seen any number of different birds done in this style including peacocks, pigeons, roosters, geese, and ducks, but this is one of the better, and more unusual, ones I’ve encountered. I am very pleased to offer this lovely double-handled vase with cobalt blue Delft décor of handpainted birds, flowers, and vines on a bright white porcelain. It is clearly marked on the base, but I have had no luck in finding the mark or the make. If anyone has information, I would love to hear it and happily share it!
