This beautiful necklace is comprised of two kinds of jasper: Picture and Red/Brecciated Jasper with 2 beautiful antiqued sterling silver accent beads.

Turned on its side, the focal bead (picture jasper) looks as if a tree has been delicately etched on it. So as not to detract from this beautiful stone, I kept the design very simple. The round red jasper beads are a perfect background and the two silver beads give the necklace that little bit of "pop."

The focal bead has a wave in it which adds to the unique beauty of this necklace. The colors of this necklace remind me of a trip I took to Sedona, Arizona.

Jasper is known as "the supreme nurturer." It "sustains and supports during times of stress, and unifies all aspects of life."

Picture jasper is "said to be Mother Earth speaking to her children." It brings comfort and alleviates fear and protects women during childbirth,

Red jasper, "makes an excellent worry bead." It returns negative energy to its source.*

All in all, I cannot say enough how beautiful this necklace is!
