Stunning Victorian Gloved Florentine Hand Brooch Holding a Coral Bead Chain

Circa mid to late 1800’s. The hand appears to be gloved and holding a coral bead chain. The finish is called florentine finish. The hand did not test gold. It is either pinchbeck, gold filled or rolled gold. There are several places on the back where others have tried to test for gold content so I'm not the only one that thought it was gold. The whole pin mechanism on the back including the c-clasp closure has been changed to a safety clasp. Also, I believe at one time the bar loosened that secures the coral beads so it was repaired. It didn't bother me when I purchased it because when worn it's not noticeable but I wanted to point this out. Measures .75 by .5 inches.
