Dating these type of hands can be complicated. They made them in the 1800’s and are still making them today. Quality is the key in both the carving and the findings. Most of the new ones are made in silver and gold plate and are marked. This is a hand carved and I believe it is made of carnelian. The findings are gold. Not marked but test gold. They are good luck pieces and are called Figa’s. I believe this dates the earlier part of the 1900’s. It measures 1 1/8 inches long.
There are more 'hands' in my shop. Please check them all out.
