This hat or bandbox dates to circa 1850 to 1870’s. It is hand made and lined inside and out with antique wallpaper. On the top and around the sides is a heavy wire like mesh cord and tape. On the top is a lithograph scene of costumed 18th century ladies and gentlemen. It has issues. Some of the paper is torn and faded. Please see all photos and if you want to see more please ask. The top cord is detached in areas but I didn’t want to attempt to attach. I want to leave that to the new owner. Measures 12.25 by 14.5 by 8 inches high.
