Circa 1920. Right from the pages of "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Carving depicts a nude playing an instrument. Maybe she is one of Pan’s wood-nymph friends. There is a lot of detail to her face and hand, considering the size of the carving. Period safety clasp. The cameo measures 1.5 by 1.25 inches and is in a brass setting.
