ATTENTION "HAND" COLLECTORS! This dates to the late mid-1800’s. The cuff tests gold and the hand is coral. It holds an 1851 one dollar United States of America gold coin. I am not sure if this is original to the piece. The hand is expertly carved. It looks like there might be some hallmarks on the gold but I can’t decipher them. The engraving on the gold is simply awesome. There has been some minor repairs to the top of the cuff but they were well done so they can’t been seen very well.
