1940's Virga Doll 459 MIB Lavender Dress

Virga was one of the Beehler Arts Company subsidiaries. They marketed a number of different doll lines. This doll dates from the 1940's. She is in a Virga box the 459 NUN printed on the end. The doll has strawberry blond mohair. Hard plastic doll with painted features. Her arms are movable. Her legs are stationary. She is dressed in a fancy lavender satin and lace gown with matching hat. There are yellow flower accents on the hat and waist. She stands 7 3/4" tall. The box has a tear in the lid.
