Four piece smoking set including a tray, ashtray, cigarette holder and clip. There is an engraved stylized figure on the tray and the clip possibly of a dragons head. The bottoms are marked OF Dingeldein St. Louis USA The mark was used by Otto Dingeldein from 1939 to 1956 . He emigrated from Germany in 1927. He came from a long line of silversmiths dating back to the 1800s in Germany. Dingeldein died in 1991. Dingeldein objects are on display in the History Museum in St. Louis. This set has seen heavy use. It has lots of scratches, wear and dings plus burns to the ashtray and bottom on the holder. The tray measures 7 1/4" across.
