Big Honking Agate Slice Victorian Pin

This pin has the most beautiful slice of agate ever! It is so gorgeous with tones of lines and when you hold it up to the light it glows! And it is gigantic, measuring 2 3/8” long for just the agate - the entire pin being just over 2 ½”. The stone is cut with a beveled edge and set in a plain bezel setting of brass.

It is quite old and the pin stem extends far past the end of the pin itself. The pin is in great condition - the pin stem itself is not very “springy” as is often the case with these old pins - still works just fine but probably best suited for thicker fabrics.

The setting has some extra pieces of solder dispersed around it - possibly there could have been some other adornments on the pin at one time, but it looks fine as it is and the solder is hardly noticeable even on close inspection.
