This is a very large and gorgeous piece. The plate is pre Clarice Cliff, The scene on this piece is stunning. It's like looking at a large picture. There is so much going on and it is so clear. I tried to capture this in the photos, but I cannot do this piece justice. The plate is in beautiful condition, free of cracks, chips, stains, or crazing. I see only a couple very tiny use marks. The scene features a woman and children, along with cottages, and just goes on & on. It is very much like a story book. This is truly a very rare find and it is the only chop plate in this pattern I have seen. This is a beautiful addition befitting any ironstone pastoral transferware collection.

This plate measures 12 1/4" wide and is 1 1/4" deep.
