Beautiful Large Transferware Cheese Keeper

This is just a very lovely cheese keeper. The bottom plate is the one that I received with it from England. The lid is in wonderful condition, free of cracks, chips, crazing, stains. etc. The bottom plate is free from cracks, chips or crazing. Of course there are no markings on the piece, but it has a very nice glaze, and it is a beauty. I purchased this item from a dealer in the UK, and the bottom plate isn't the original . I believe this plate was made by someone specifically for this lid. as the finish is a bit rough. The cheese keeper top has blue floral bouquets, with small blue and gold foliage.

The plate 10 1/4" long, and is 7 3/4" wide. The keeper top is b 1/2" long, 5 1/2" wide, and is 4 1/2" high. Both pieces weigh 2.12 oz.
