Johann Seltman Bayreuth Bavaria Demitasse Footed Ornate Cup & Saucer 1900

This little cup & saucer is just gorgeous. There appear to be two marks under each piece. The solid mark is Bayreuth and underneath that mark is a Johann Seltman mark. Both factories are in Bavaria and both have done outstanding work. The condition on this set is unbelievable. The gilding is in outstanding condition with very minimal wear, I would say 98% complete. The scenes on these pieces are all romantic courting scenes. The green is an apple green, there are tiny dots of gold slip in the gilding. This is a stunning tea cup set in stunning condition. It is free of chips, cracks, stains, crazing, etc.

The saucer measures 4 1/2" wide, and is 5/8" deep. The cup measures 3" tall and is 2 1/8" across the rim.
