This item is a real treat for the eyes. This stunning piece dates to the 1880s or 1890s. The R.M. Krause factory opened in 1882 and closed it's doors in 1929. This gorgeous piece is an early piece by Krause. It is classic art nouveau in style, with a rococo base. Along with being so ornate this jardiniere is very colorful. The colors range from cobalt blue to a stunning light yellow. There is a griffin on each end of the jardiniere and a stunning cartouche with a lavender drapery & swag of pastel flowers. I could go on & on about this piece. But I will let the photos say the rest. To top it all off is the condition. There are no cracks, chips, stains or repairs to this stunning piece. There is crazing on the inside. That is the only fault I can find on this piece. This jardiniere is very well made and isn't light in weight. It is truly an outstanding work of art.

This piece measures 10" long, it's 5" wide and it stands 6 1/2" high.
