From my own collection, I have an adorable black baby bisque doll, she is in wonderful condition, minimal paint loss, her ribbons and hair are great, she is jointed with string, I believe. Her little panties are glued on and her dress is quite simple, but adorable. She measures 6 1/2" long. I would estimate her to be made in the 40s. She is just a wonderful example of Black Americana.
