New York Sample Fur Shoppe Mink Dyed Muskrat Vintage 1930's~1940's Fur Cape~Stole

Thank goodness the elderly lady that had this cape wrote the info. on this cape down! I know little to nothing about furs. The color on this fur is beautiful, the stripes really stand out. Of course it has been in storage a very long time. The cape features a beautiful brown satin lining with orchids. It has three hook and eye closures in the front. It look to be in very good condition, I don't see any bald spots, the fur is a bit shorter around the neckline. It has an opening under each arm. It took 5 muskrats to make the cape. This is a great WW2 item, that will look gorgeous dressed up or down, in any wardrobe.

The stole measures 17" in the shoulders and is 25" long.
