Mammy & Pappy 3" Salt & Pepper Japan

These two are so cute. Both have a Japan label on the bottom. Mammy has a blue & white polka-dot scarf, Pappy has a white chefs hat with a little dark paint on it. I don't know what that's about as it is glazed. Mammy's cork is inside the shaker. They measure 2 7/8" tall and are about 1 1/2" across the base. They are both in great condition, free from cracks, chips or crazing. I would date these to the 40s or 50s.
