This is just a gorgeous yellow. This piece is in great condition, free of chips & cracks, it does have fine age crazing. This piece was manufactured between 1912 and 1931, when the pottery closed. The outside of the holder is a light yellow matte finish the inside is a very pretty glossy yellow. In the picture it looks like it may have a crack, but I believe its just glaze crazing. I can't feel any cracks at all. This piece measures 4" tall and is 3 1/2" across the base, and has the impressed mark.
