Most trade cards aren't so demeaning. This one definitely is. It's a little black boy sleeping with a black pig in a garden area with a watermelon in a little cart. The title under the art scene reads "peaceful slumber". The artwork on this card is beautiful as is the advertisement on the back. The card is in wonderful condition, free of tears & stains, it has just yellowed with age. The card measures 3 3/4" wide and is 5 3/8" long. The back of the card looks light & dark in the photos. That is just refection form the sun, the card is excellent condition. I date this card to the early 1900s.
