Our Service Pledge To You:
I will do my best to respond to all questions and or orders within 24 hrs. We do go away for long week-ends periodically, however I promise to get back to your inquiries or purchase orders right away!

I do my best to get your items shipped within 24 hrs. The majority of the time I am able to ship right away.

**I do launder or have items dry cleaned professionally. If the item is never worn vintage I have to remove the tags, but will enclose with the items.

About Us
I have had a real fondness for pottery, porcelain & related items for as long as I can remember. I tend to buy more than I can ever use, so having this shop works out well for me and hopefully will for you as well.

I would like to invite you to come in and browse around.. I try to have a little something for everyone to enjoy.

My gathering place is my porch. Of course it's not too feasible in the winter but when it's warm enough, that's where I love to be.

I do add items to the shop all the time, you can check back periodically or you can put me on your favorites list.

Other than my love for pottery, I love animals! Featured above is Ollie my yellow naped amazon. Ollie is 27 years old and of course my best buddy. She has an extensive vocabulary and has something to say about everything. She loves the news and Antiques Roadshow.

I have and still do collect many items. I love vintage clothing, Once in a while I will find a wonderful piece of Black Americana, which I have collected for many years. I don't collect it much any more as the marketplace is flooded with reproductions. Very good reproductions too!

I had just left the work place after many years, when I opened The Gathering Place. It has been so much fun! I have met people here that have become true friends. Everyone is so friendly and just a joy to deal with. I try to carry a whole range of different items. Sometimes I remove items from the shop if they don't sell. If you are looking for something you have seen in my store, and no longer see it. Just message me, I can relist if I still have it.

I have collected lots of collectibles over the years, besides pottery. Black Americana Is one I have collected for a very long time. It has become increasingly difficult to collect too. There are so many reproductions, and reproduced to look "old".

I have recently left the workforce and I can now do what I have always enjoyed ...collecting and selling. I have been selling pottery for many years, both online and off. I would like to assure you that I do my best to make sure everything I collect and sell are the "Real Deal". If I feel any item is a reproduction or possibly could be. I will not put it in my store.
