This is a wonderful old Pairpoint Aesthetic Period quadruple plate basket with beautiful embossed detailing. The basket is superbly detailed with cranes, hummingbirds, flowers, grasses, spiders, webs, snails, flies, butterflies and the like. The sides of the basket are shaped like bamboo branches, and the ends of each branch have a spider web. This basket certainly leaves no space undecorated.

It measures 11" square and stands 4 1/2" tall, not including the height of the handle, which would bring the height to over 12". The base is marked with the Pairpoint logo, as well as numbered 1219. The interior circle indentation measures 4 1/2" in diameter.

This basket is in overall very fine condition with no dents, dings, scratches or damage. The plating shows some wear on the interior base where the bowl will sit. Very appropriate wear for its age. Ready to display your own glass bowl. (White bowl shown is for demonstration purposes only).
