Foliage is a great pattern! I have made this into a rectangle that measures 1 3/8" x 1" in size. It dangles from three decorative sterling silver jump rings. This piece has been stamped with FS for fine silver and signed, Sanna '08.

Fine silver is 99.9% pure silver. Precious Metal Clay is comprised of fine silver particles that are in a binder which burns away when fired in a kiln leaving only pure silver behind. The clay it forms can be molded, stamped, bent and shaped to form a design. After it dries completely the design is then sand finished and fired. After firing it is then tumbled to polish the piece and either left shiny or oxidized to add a patina that brings out the detail in the low spots and then buffed to bring shine to the high spots.
