This one-gallon stoneware jug stands 12" high and measures 7" diameter at base. Imprinted on the jug is "JOHN H. WALSH & CO., HAYMARKET SQ, BOSTON MASS". Walsh was the president of John H. Walsh and Company, importers and wholesale liquor dealer.

This jug is in excellent condition, with a few chips on the rim. There is no cork. The jug was manufactured and utilized in the 1880's or 1890's. This would be a great addition to your collection.
