Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy now.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
IMPORTANT : If the shipping rates are not readily available, or if making multiple item purchases, please WAIT FOR SHIPPING RATES BEFORE PAYMENT so that we can combine your items and recalculate your shipping. (Combined shipping saves you money). We strongly encourage insuring all purchases. Standard postal insurance rates apply. Most often the buyer pays for actual shipping charges unless otherwise indicated. We DO NOT charge handling fees or packaging costs!

Layaway Plan & Terms*: A 30% Down payment of entire balance (including shipping charges) will be due within 5 days of the order placement and initial agreement. 50% of remaining balance must then be received by the Seller 30 days after the initial order date, with remainder of balance received by the Seller no later than 60 days after the initial order date unless otherwise stipulated at time of purchase. The shop will charge a 30% restocking fee (ie... the down payment) on forfeited layaways. A layaway will be considered forfeited if the 30 day payment is not received in a timely manner or if payment in full is not made within 60 days* of purchase (unless otherwise agreed upon with order placement, or thereafter, between shop owner and customer).* Cancellation of a layaway after 30 days will also be considered a forfeited layaway.

*For purchases over $200.00, other terms regarding payments and payment due dates may be set up at the sole discretion of the seller with a buyer's written agreement, however, please note that the 30% down payment and restocking fee terms will still apply as previously noted.

Restocking Fee:
On layaway items only. See Lay Away terms. Restocking Fee applies on canceled or forfeited layaways after 30 days from date of order or if balance is unpaid after 60 days.

Other Information:
Sorry but we DO NOT TAKE PERSONAL CHECKS. We ask all of our customers that if you make a commitment to purchase, please be courteous and follow through with making your payment within a maximum of seven days. *(PLEASE NOTE IF PAYMENT IS BEING MADE BY A MONEY ORDER, PLEASE MAIL YOU MONEY ORDER WITHIN 3 DAYS OF YOUR PURCHASE OR USE A PRIORITY MAILER IF MAILED LATER (NO KIDDING) SO THAT YOUR ORDER CAN BE FINALIZED WITHIN THE SEVEN DAY PERIOD.) If your purchase has not been finalized in seven days we reserve the right to relist the item(s). If a customer is asking for special discounted prices then we may ask for immediate payment (within 24 hours of invoice) via an online payment source; Pay Pal ( an E-Check is also sufficient). We truly value our customers and aim to please. Most of our customers have admirable integrity, making their payment within the requested time frame, and go on to become returning customers.
