C.1960'S Vintage Hand Laced & Tooled Leather WALLET & PURSE SET

WOW! Made to last! This lovely hand sewn and hand tooled shoulder bag and wallet would have been the envy of most any young woman in the 1960's...a little bit MOD... a little bit Western...and certainly the perfect go-with for bell bottom jeans. The vintage set has been lightly used but the leather appears unworn and unmarred and the lacing is tight and in EXCELLENT CONDITION.. Both the purse and the wallet are leather and lined with leather! A sweeping floral design and a non-obtrusive monogram has been worked into the exterior on both the wallet and the purse. The monogram is either "KVK" of "HVH." The exterior and interior leather on both items is soft and supple. The purse is tooled on both front and back. The 1" wide shoulder strap measures 34 1/2" from brass ring to brass ring. A matching brass (or brass colored) turn latch holds the flap down. The bag opens to reveal a lining of a softer leather, a centered zipper section, a side pocket, and a large area on either side of the middle section that meets at the bottom. Plenty of space here! The zippered compartment (also leather) has a functioning heavy metal zipper made to last. There is an approximately 1/4" area where the zipper needs to be re-stitched (see photo) and could easily be done by hand with a heavy needle. Otherwise the purse appears perfect and measures 11" wide, 8" tall, and 4" deep at the widest point. The wallet, or billfold, folds in the center. It opens to reveal a removable picture section. The little plastic sleeves for photos are intact but a bit used and could be removed if desired. The snap closure for the change area opens and shuts easily and the area for those bills perfectly clean. The wallet is leather through and through also and measures 4 1/2" x 3 5/8" closed, open it measures 9 1/4" long. This is a wonderful set in Excellent Condition!
