In the late 1800's to early 1900's, cabinet cards offered a larger area surrounding the photograph than had originally been done and was also of heavier embossed stock than had been offered in previous years. This photograph must have come from that time period measuring approximately 5 1/4" x 7 1/4". The portrait studio's name; "Bronson" is embossed along with a company logo and the address "Lima, NY" underneath the portrait. This photograph appears to be of siblings and utilizes a fade out at the bottom of the photograph that softens the picture. This picture and card have some "age" spots but do remain a nice example of early studio photography!
