This early photograph was mounted on Gray Card Stock measuring 6 3/8" x 4 1/4". Typical of a cabinet card from the Victorian Era, the mounting board carries the name of the photographer's studio: Thompson's Studio -- Boswell, Indiana. This pouty faced, cherubic little girl is wearing dark high top boots under her white lacy gown. Her cheeks and lips have a pink tint and her large hair bow a deeper pink. The patterned brocade cloth (or rug) she is standing on has been colored to an emerald green. The toddler is standing beside a heavily carved bench typical of the period. This photograph and card have been kept in amazing condition.
