Made in England, J & G Meakin's Blue Nordic pattern offers the fresh crisp look of European Blue and White China. The contrast of royal blue--almost navy, on the classic bright white. This elegant Staffordshire Ironstone is lovely enough for special occasions and durable enough for every day. The platter is in Excellent Condition without nicks, chips,or cracks or crazing. It measures 12" x 9 1/2". The platter has several identifying marks: J & G Meakin, Classic White, Hand Engraved, Blue Nordic; English Ironstone; England. This price is for the Platter.

This pattern by J&G Meakin was eventually carried on by Johnson Brothers. So matches to the Blue Nordic dinnerware can also be found under that name as well. Blue Nordic is often confused with Blue Onion.
