Monogrammed "L" & Engraved 1915 ~ Gorham Sterling Silver Spotswood Teaspoon ( Patented 1912)

Gorham's hallmarks; the Passant Lion, the Anchor, and the Gothic "G" are present on the back of this teaspoon along with the 1912 Patent date for the Spotswood Pattern and the identification of the spoon as Sterling. The flatware spoon is also engraved on the reverse with the year date of 1915--most likely the date it was given as a gift. The monogrammed initial "L" is within a shield at the proximal end of the handle.
