From the late 1920's or early 1930's, this lovely shade of green is the typical and lovely "Depression Glass Green." There are four 6 " plates. The four footed cups with their distinctively angled handle, help to identify this ribbed pattern by Economy Glass. Flaws during manufacturing are part of the beauty of depression glass. Several of the pieces have tiny bubbles which formed within the glass during manufacture, one cup has a fairly good sized bubble, and one cup has an irregular or uneven rim which also occurred during manufacture. The 6" sherbet plates are often utilized as saucers and can be if preferred, or as the cups are footed, they work quite well without a saucer, and the plates can be used as dessert plates or "sherbet plates" as originally intended.. There is roughness noted on the edge of one plate but no chips or breaks found through out the eight pieces. The price is for the 4 Plates and 4 cups.
