9" x 12" Rose & Floral Paper Mache Vintage Tray ~ Japan

This vintage tray measures 9"x 12" with a lovely centered floral design much like the design on a tole tray. The single pink rose surrounded by blue, white, and yellow flowers appears to be painted on. Made from paper mache', the tray has a wood like appearance and is lacquered with a semi-glossy protective coating. A patent number and insignia ( C with a K stamped over it) are stamped on the back. The stamped information also says "Made in Japan" & "Alcohol Proof." The perfect size for snacks, lunch, or beautiful just for display! The very edges show wear of the lacquered finish (but would not be seen if the tray is used for display) otherwise in EXCELLENT Condition!
