LOOK @ the TOP! Prescut Pineapple Handled Sugar w/ Lid

PLEASE TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THIS TOP! Most of the Prescut Pineapple Sugars seen today seemed to have picked up the lid from the EAPC or "Star of David" sugar--or even less of a fit (pattern wise) -- the Wexford sugar top. It is increasingly difficult to find the real original top for the Pineapple pattern sugar but here it is! It's important to know what the original lid looks like to avoid a mismatched purchase. Anchor Hocking's Pineapple pattern was manufactured 20 years before they manufactured the EAPC, so it is unlikely that the two patterns shared the same lid-- and particularly since the milk glass version of this sugar carries the top identical to this one! This sugar bowl & lid are in EXCELLENT Condition!

Sadly one of the top Anchor Hocking Collector's books also shows this sugar with an incorrect lid in the clear version of the sugar like this one.
