This SET OF 4: 6 1/2" DESSERT PLATES or BREAD & BUTTER PLATES are in the Desert Bloom pattern, by Vernon Kilns / Metlox. The four plates are priced to sell together and all four pieces are without chips, cracks, or crazing and in EXCELLENT Condition. Desert Bloom was manufactured beginning in the 1940's and discontinued in the 1950's. The scalloped edges of this pattern, with the embossed borders are so lovely! The colors are primarily shades of wine and blue in trailing wild flowers featured on an eggshell colored background.
