In Mint Condition, this red rimmed, 10 1/2 inch, Commemorative Plate is an authentic Kewpie Design, a design of Rose Oneill ( 1874 - 1944), who founded the Kewpie, and bears her signature. The plate is dated 1973 and is a Collectors Edition by Jos. L. Kallus. A full dozen Kewpie Babies are snuggled in this cheerful, chuckling, Santa's beard and the inscription: "LET JOY BE EVERYWHERE YOU ARE" is printed at the top.
