This book was written as a collection of letters from a young woman named Adina in Jerusalem to her father, Manasseh Benjamin. As a visitor to Jerusalem, the young woman gives an insider's view of the teaching years of Jesus Christ of Nazareth beginning three years before the crucifixion through that event. In Excellent Condition, the book does not contain a copyright date but does have a neatly handwritten date when it was apparently given and received as a gift on Christmas of 1908. The hardback cover is embossed and gilded. The pages are sewn. The page edges appear uneven and have apparently been placed in the book in an this manner to appear as letters bound together. There are lithographic illustrations throughout the novel. Overall bright and clean.
