A perfect gift item for a young doll collector! Photographs through the plastic packaging material certainly do not do this colorful doll justice. However, as she is still new in the box, and in her original package, I will leave her that way for her new owner. The 8" Porcelain Doll, with stand, is from Avon's International Doll Series and represents Nigeria. A finely detailed doll from the brightly colored turban on her head, to the water jug in her hand, and down to her toes in the scant little sandals. Colorful beaded bracelets and necklaces add to the brilliant warm colors of her wardrobe. A beautiful addition to any International Doll Collection. This African Doll; Adama, will steal your heart in just a quick glance. (I am totally taken with her!) Adama is in MINT Condition. Her box is dated 1990. Adama is featured in Bud Hastins' "Avon Collector's Encyclopedia," on page 400 with a suggested Collector's Market Price of $35.
