You are viewing Royal Doulton Seriesware plate called "The Admiral" There are nine plates in "The Professional Series" They were produced from 1909 to 1974 They were produced in four separate firings The plate is marked D62/79 which means that it was from the third firing. 1 First Series 1909-1938 2-Series 1938-1948 3-Series 1948-1960 4 Series 1960_1974 These were made in White China. Made in England I think this is suppose to be Admiral Nelson. From England to you.
