This bright and colorful vintage quilt is a version of the Double Wedding Ring that was made popular in the 1920. This is a single needle quilt (which means that one person made all of it) the stitching is very close. The quilting on the quilt follows the pattern of the rings. The back is made of muslin and the colors are thirties colors. This would be a lovely quilt to put in cabin or a boys room. I just washed this quilt so it is clean. There are two small spots on the back that I included in a picture. This quilt is a heritage of Northwest Kansas, What worried tired mother used her scraps to make this quilt. I'm sure she thought it was the color of Sun Flowers. A Double Wedding Ring to you from Kansas!
