Introducing a stunning and quite rare carved wooden altar piece from Kerala India..it is the Christian Tree of Life. This was rescued from a Church that was destoyed at the turn of last century. Gorgeous polychrome and gilding..very colorful...interesting carving. 3 niches for statues. It is huge..measuring approx. 11' 6" high x 10' 6" wide. This will have to be shipped in 2 pieces. Shipping to US is included. Shipping to Europe is paid and arranged for by buyer. Condition is used obviously..for many, many years so it has chips to gilding and gesso..some paint drippings and splaters and chips to the wonderful spires on top with bird heads..just unique and delicious for a head board..don't you think..how decadent of you!
