Here is a delightful applique from a vestment originally. The soft roses in the center of the piece have been delicately stitched in petitpoint..so tiny...this is actually needlepoint with petitpoint. Dated from c.1910 or earlier with gold metallic trim along sides. The ground is a pretty eggshell white. Only a very smidgeon of stitchloss. Nice to place in the center of a pillow or to use for a tote/purse or intended purpose.
