Exquisite Antique French Silk Metallic Applique Tapestry Long Fringe

Here is a fabulous antique, 18thc or earlier, applied applique tapestry of silk and linen. Most likely had velvet on it, long since gone, but what is left is simply magical. Hang this on your wall instead of a painting for a focal point to talk about in a room..it will garner alot of attention, I know, it has in my home. Really pretty but with a few problems as photographed. I have never even seen the magnificent gold metallic trim surrounding it before during all my studies. The long gold metallic fringe has the most exquisite oxidation. There is gold metallic thread/cord surrounding the applied pieces as well. Really a fun decorative piece that would have been in the thousands had it been in perfect condtion.
