Here is a gorgeous, decorative,antique, 19thc table mat/runner from England..featuring an intricate embroidery of silk threads on linen ground..with what looks like Adam and Eve on the bottom..perhaps this piece represents the garden of Eden.. Very special piece! Turn into an unsual pillow or tote..you will love it! A bit of wear on edges, I tried to show in closeup photo..no biggie..doesn't detract.
