Here is an adorable, large piece of 100% cotton fabric from France, also known as Creton (which is an early barkcloth that is the predecesor and inspiration to the American Barkcloth Fabric era.) Sweet floral garlands hang verically against a creamy white ground. Faded just right with the reds of the floral still nice and colorful. I just adore this fabric! It dates from the the 1890's and depicts an Art Nouveau stylized floral design. Perfect for pillow making. I have more available so please inquire. Siz: 31 1/2" x 36"/Condition: Excellent albeit some uniform fading from years of laundering and use..it is perfect actually..what all the decorators want when looking for a shabby fabric for one of their projects..perfect for those cottage pillows you have been dying to make!
