Here is a very unusual and rare embroidered applique for that special project of yours..it is amazing quality and unique look!! The embroidery is quite detailed. You will love this!! The colors are vivid and alive with alot of depth to the embroidery. This was trimmed from a larger piece of silk, most likely, a bedcover. Here is an adorable, large piece of 100% cotton fabric from France, also known as Creton (which is an early barkcloth that is the predecesor and inspiration to the American Barkcloth Fabric era.) Here is a wonderful fabric from the 20'30's. It is the perfect percale weight and has a high thread count. Here is a wonderful vestment trim/galon from the end of the 19thc. Beautifully tarnished/burnished to a mellow silver (the photos didn't come out as clear as I had hoped due to the reflection but you get a good idea of how wonderful this is). It has nice age and a great look. Nice for pillow edging, doll clothing, lampshade edges, purses, etc.. Or if you are up to it, repairing a vestment. 1 yd x 1 1/2" more is available if you need.

Here is a stunning length of antique French tapestry border featuring woven embroidery of delightful, jewel tone floral against a black ground. This is silk and wool with a bit of flax perhaps. Just a quality border that in its day, was very expensive (as it is today), but worth every cent! Nice for edging pillows, or to use for purses, or any other project you can think of. Dating from c.1880 or earlier, this beautiful piece was at one time bordering a tapestry..I can just imagine how beautiful that was!
