REDUCED Super nice Victorian lady picture or portrait lapel or collar pin adorned with blue and clear rhinestones

This is just simply a SUPER Victorian era pin! Wow It is very unusual in the aspect that the inner picture pin looks to mounted into the outer jeweled framework which also has a locking pin back. The inner pin is marked: PIN LOCK pat'd May 31, 98. I find no markings on the outer framework. The rhinestones are prong set and in GREAT condition. This pin has had very very little wear or damage over it very long life. Great patina adorns the metalwork. I would say due to the design of the fold over clasp on the framework that this was probably made in Germany. The same type of clasp exists in the military pins that were produced at that time and after. It is constructed of very good quality materials. It's possible that the frame is of a cast gold but I can find to verification of that. It just cleans very easily to a bright finish. This pin is in need of some cleaning and I would recommend a professional. The pin measures 1.25" by 1.375".
