As long as I have loved charms, I have not seen this one before. You may see a picture of it on page 133 of Joanna Schwartz's book about Charms and Charm bracelets. As a travel souvenir charm, this one is striking. The Dutch Boy and Dutch Girl are enameled. This is a moveable charm: they swivel in and out of the house. The detailing on the charm is quite nice. This is a model of the Weather House, in which one comes out if it will rain, and one comes out if it is fair skies. This is a little over 1/2" wide. It probably dates to the 1950's.
