Marvelous Amber Crystal Silver Watch Fob Charm

This beautiful piece came from an English Charm bracelet. It is marked "SIL" for silver content greater than 80%. The stone is a large amber faceted crystal that spins. The fluid lines suggest an earlier era than the bracelet. The frame has a fluid curve to the lines. It's a remarkable piece that could be a stand alone pendant, or a centerpiece for big bracelet. It measures a full 1 inch wide.

There is a photograph of a charm like this one on page 109 of Joanne Schwartz's book, Charms and Charm Bracelets, the Complete Guide. She attributes this to the years 1960-1970. The one pictured in the book is crystal, compared to the lovely amber of this one.
